Ruched Bodice

Been looking at some diagrams on pattern alteration by the slash-&-spread method, and the last few nights I've been reworking one of the existing bodice patterns I have. I finally made a pattern today that looks ok when I sew it up (fabric is an old pillowcase). Trying to decide what to do with the lower edge -- finish it with bias tape like the neck and arm-holes, or add a little peplum?
