Dream Report

I was on a trip with my parents. As we drove to the hotel, I kept noticing really old automobiles on the highway. Normally, I told anyone who'd listen, if you see a car more than fifty years old *at all*, it's because someone has collected, restored and cared for it -- but these ones were in awful shape, with big dents in them and their drivers struggling to keep them moving. I also saw one car whose make I couldn't even recognize; it looked like miniature tank, or a large avocado on wheels. I began wondering if there was some kind of ugly car rally going on.

Then again, maybe I shouldn't have said anything -- we were travelling in a VW beetle so tiny that when we got to a hotel I just put it on as a backpack. Actually a pretty useful feature, that.
