One of my dreams shortly before waking up involved two stoners who kept heading out, boasting to their housemates that they were “off to the cool party.” The next scene would find them returning twenty minutes later, having been kicked out or otherwise excluded. Eventually they left again for some event – this time we next see them fleeing a graveyard as a fiery, star-shaped portal opens in the ground behind them. A semi-shapeless demonic shadow rises through it, and says stuff like “who would gaze upon me, that my image might be seared into his mind for all eternity” – but in the voice of Jimmy Stewart, which makes it hard to take seriously as a threat…
