Mar. 18th, 2011 10:58 amI got this email, addressed to me, a few minutes after I’d finished dealing with a difficult call:

Its sooo funny how sarah is quick to transfer calls but when we do it to her, she gives this big sigh on the phone as if she’s disappointed. LOL
Shes annoying me
Now, I figure my co-workers are within their rights to complain about me – it’s even ok if they gripe about me to each other (lord knows I sometimes rant about them on this journal) – but it’s really weird to be spoken to directly, but in the third person.
OTOH, Ocky the Razor is saying “hey kids – what’s the most likely scenario? That someone is deliberately using syntax to convey a subtle sense of insult; that someone sent this to the wrong address; or that someone made an honest grammatical error due to English not being her first language?”
Anyway, I typed “I’m sorry,” hit reply, and will endeavour in future not to sound so put-upon when people ask me questions; but I felt I had to share this one.
At least it wasn’t all in caps.
