Dec. 28th, 2009 02:57 pmGot a book on seahorses for Christmas - turns out there's lots of video on youtube of them as well, as in recent years captive-bred ones have become popular with salt-water aquarium hobbyists.
Seahorse eating brine shrimp.
Seahorses mating:

This one doesn't quite work out. Poor seahorses get this expression of "oh darn, we dropped the eggs."
This one appears to be a seahorse love triangle.
This one's a freakin' Disney movie.
Male seahorse giving birth (Seahorses do these things a bit differently). This one's having a bit more trouble than usual - in the other videos the babies are quite small relative to the father, and come shooting out (leading to one comment of "He's half fish! Half horse! and half Magnum .44!")
