Pretty decent Labour Day weekend - was able to get green_trilobite out of the house three days running, which is probably some sort of record for the last few years.


Saturday we went to the Ex, hit the vintage and discount video booths, and got Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex; Willard (the remake with Crispin Glover); The Red House(believe this to be the scary mystery thriller my mother and her siblings saw as kids and still talk about); Boy! What a Girl (1930s flick which is basically Charlie's Aunt, the Harlem version; Horror Maniacs AKA The Greed of William Hart AKA Burke and Hare (the real reason the see this is the "daft" character who eventually falls victim to the titular body-snatchers, but who up until that point stands around saying things like "Och, theer the ones w'a brings all the deef an' dumb folk back fr'ae the graveyard - but theer all deef an' dumb i' the graveyard..."




Today we sat out on the Sunnyside Cafe's patio, while the Snowbirds went over. Watched beach volleyball and pretty airplanes swooping around in formation.
