Got off work early on Friday but had to miss Diners anyway due to green_trilobite & the mother-in-law being too stressed-out to leave alone for the evening. Nonetheless manged to get some much-needed socializing in on the long weekend - had coffee with missmtoyou on Sunday, and theengineer came for dinner and Dr-Who-watching last night. I don't think I'd seen either of them in about a month - missmtoyou is writing articles for submission to different magazines, and theengineer, when not at work or organizing Anime North, has been riding his bike all summer, and is all tanned and fit and so on ; )

Sigh

Didn't get into the Speakeasy Illustration Show this year. I half-expected I wouldn't, but it's still a disappointment.
