Cats

I've been waiting to see if Oscar the Death Cat shows up on cuteoverload - they do have a category called "Cute or Sad," but as yet no "Cute or Scary?" So far that seems unlikely to change. Meanwhile I just noticed that the nursing home where Oscar is pre-coroner and psychopomp is located in Providence R. I., which would have pleased area man H. P. Lovecraft no end, I'm sure. Here's the New England Journal of Medicine human/feline-interest piece which broke this story.
