Hurray for google, youtube and fans

As a six-year old I saw a few episodes of a nifty animated fantasy adventure show I now know was Thundarr the Barbarian. About the only episode I could clearly remember involved three superpowered women who as a trio could defeat some villain - he promptly took steps to stop them by kidnapping one of them from the past (she was a fashion model in the 1980s - the series was set a couple of thousand years in the future); thus shooting himself in the foot by a) bringing her to his own time and b) triggering her superpowers (she suddenly grew wings and developed the ability to shoot lasers from her eyes). Anyway, today on my lunch hour I read through episode synopsises until I found it: "Prophecy of Peril." There's even a Youtube clip. The animation isn't as slick as it looked to me as a kid (but then, a few years earlier my brain had been filling in the colour on black-and-white tv set images), but it's definitely the cartoon I remember from 1981. Hooray for people obsessed enough to collect and catalogue this stuff and post the information publicly.

green_trilobite and I went to a tea-party the other day (anonymous Don was told by his sister a few months back that she'd help him move if he'd finally take their grandmother's tea service from her garage); his apartment still doesn't have a lot of chairs, but there were scones, and tongs for the sugar, and he'd run around the day before looking for clotted cream before finally tracking some down in the yogurt section of the supermarket; we dressed up, as did missmtoyou and Alexa. Dee was going to dress up, but she could only take a few hours off from marking papers, so she was in blue jeans, but her manners are impeccable. Don's sister was there, with her (step?)daughter, who I hope was not too bored - then again if she's anything like me at her age, being at an adult party was exotic enough to compensate for much.
