Seldom are Hopes Raised & Dashed in Such Rapid Succession

One of my co-workers has just hung a copy of Mike Mignola's poster for Silver Snail in his cubicle. I asked him if he'd ever read Mignola's The Amazing Screw-On Head, and in googling the title we found there had been plans for an animated series based on the one-off about a Civil-War era robot (cyborg?) superhero. Then we found the plans had fallen through, although there might be a pilot floating around. Darn. And David Hyde Pierce was going to voice Emperor Zombie, too.
