Dogs

Pit Bulls have been banned in Ontario. Dog breeders have pointed out that dog attacks are usually the result of bad owners, and that with pit pulls nixed, people looking for attack dogs will just get something else and train it to be vicious, for instance a Canary Dog, a breed currently rare in this neck of the woods.

The Sun, needing a new breed to get hysterical about, is using this story as "look out! here comes the next killer dog!"

Everyday Art

The Gates, and this parody of it, have me looking at traffic flags and other orange things as found art. The flesh dress did that for me too - whenever I see a roast pig hanging in a window on Spadina, I think about art; one of several things I liked about the work.

The cheese crackers are nicely photographed, too.
