Today I established that trying to use yogurt as an ingredient in cake icing isn't a very good idea.

Butter? Cream cheese? Both perfectly good icing ingredients which I should have used instead.

I should ask Trixie (my friend Trixie, not Deadwood Trixie - not crazy, just have odd friends)...she has bakery-related aspirations. Made bacon and syrup cupcakes once.

I know she showed me the link but hell if I remember where it was from; however if you search for maple syrup bacon cupcakes, loads of recipes show up.
From the sex noises she was typing out when they were baked and ready, I gather the cupcakes turned out really well.
