Using lipstick as eye shadow is a wonderful trick, especially for people like me who don't have any makeup other than lipstick. I also use it as blush. (Which makes it sound like I just cover my entire face in lipstick, hee.) It brings everything together. I go from looking like a person with only lipstick on to a person with a subtly dressed-up face.

And I don't get it in my eye or anything, so I don't see how germs would matter. Sanguinity hopes you will feel better if I disclose that she still occasionally puts on eyeliner and mascara that she's had since high school in the 1980s.
