I'm excited, I'm a big fan of both of them. I am a little nervous about the chocolate factory but I am going to have to watch it whether or not it lives up to the old one (it never could).
Re: (Family): You killed the zombie Flanders! (Homer): He was a zombie?
I'm figuring it'll be different from the one with Gene Wilder, which was different from the books, etc. I'm willing to allow some leeway here. Actually my husband's started looking forward to it, and he was all against the remake originally, except that the sight of Depp in a top hat made him say, "wow, he should play the Shade if they ever do a Starman movie."
I'd never wondered that...but it's pretty damn cool now that I do know. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp should just be cemented as collaborators, and then we'd always be guaranteed good, awesome-looking movies.
Oh, and I don't know you/you don't know me (I think I found you by your Knithulu), but you intrigue me, so I just want to warn you that you're being friended. In a non-stalkery way. Really.
