At this time of year, the fairy rings are really obvious in the neighbourhood where I work. Either that, or there are tiny crop circles on all the local lawns.

There were fairy circles in the first and fourth Quest for Glory games. Don't uh....don't go in them at night unless you're either Magician-class or at a very specific part in the game...... :/

Well, I wouldn't mow a lawn with a fairy circle on it.
Mind you I don't mow lawns at all, and dad does fall behind....our house is a little bit Addams Family, all around. But we're surrounded by lawn care fanatics who're out there mowing and weedwhacking and hedgetrimming all hours of the damn day and night, so our shabbiness is actually like passive-aggressive revenge.
All we have to do to annoy THEM, is nothing. :D
