IXCELR8 = "accelerate," but for a moment I hoped the driver was Aztec.

Best one I've seen was on this beat-up red Toyota minivan. The plate was "BATMOBL." It was just so geeky it was precious.

About ten years back I saw one with the plate "HRUDUDU." I had to wait around for the owner to come back so I could congratulate him.

Ahhh haven't got round to reading that yet.
Though oddly I've always associated that song for the film (not that I've ever seen the film) "Bright Eyes" with Billy Bibbit, because in Cuckoo's Nest (novel, not film) Harding keeps referring to himself and the other patients (aside from McMurphy) as rabbits.
