OK, so next time a customer calls my workplace and claims we didn’t send everything s/he ordered? Before I start calling Purolator and our shipping department and tracking the order, I’m going to ask if s/he has actually opened the box and looked inside.

I get this sometimes from remote stores that I phone up to ask if they've got "X". They say "yes" and I go out there only to find out that they never bothered to look at the shelf to see if there's been any "X" on it this week.
