Fictional characters are often described as having eyes that belie their owner’s apparent age; but I don’t recall ever reading how the other characters judge this – contact? blink rate? inception date micro-printed on the iris?

...and, as per XKCD, if they work for Google all you see when you look into their eyes is a little sign that says "Not available at this resolution".
