In that TV soaps don't actually destroy your body and mind? Um...yeah, I'm with you, on that one.

OTOH, tabloid crap like TMZ is at least as crazy as anything in the yellow rags of old, if not far more so. Ever read Black Swine in the Sewers of Hampstead, about the links between Victorian tabloids and Sensation literature?
