Strangely this is the second time I've seen someone do Little Red Riding Hood in pictograms. I suppose it's a well-known and simple enough story it lends itself to the adaptation. In recent years, though, I've come to see mysteries in it; like, why does the grandmother, explicitly frail, live way out in a remote cabin in the woods like that? Is she really stubborn, or is she in fact a werewolf?

I too would say that Granny is a werewolf and the whole story that they gave Red was a dodge by the family for her Wolf-mitzvah so that she would bet bitten/initiated/infected by Granny. Of course, like many kids, she had no respect for tradition and ran off with some hunter dude.
