Overheard in Toronto, New Year's edition
Dec 30th (young man on Bathurst streetcar): You know, I was going to finish the paper bag armour, and go as a paper bag knight.
Dec 31st (man on bicycle, glaring at a group of pedestrians): I ride on the sidewalk because the roads have too many drunks!
Jan 1, ca. 1:30 am (theengineer's brother Dave): Did green_trilobite lose weight?
theengineer: I think he said something about his knees hurting him.
Dave: How much do you think moon_custafer weighs?
theengineer: Oh god, I don't know. Not a lot.
me: Uh, hello?
theengineer: He said it! because he's a mean person!
me: (hysterical laughter)
theengineer: I'd blame it on the booze, but I'm drinking water.
Jan 1, ca. 2 am (reveller on Queen streetcar): You killed my chinchilla!
