I got another call at work today from somebody in the US trying to convince us to advertise at Trump rallies (shudder), and once again I said no as politely as I could manage.
Then the guy unexpectedly asked “You know who Smoky the Bear is?” and when I said I did, the line suddenly cut out. I’ve no idea where he was going to go with that; I just hope it wasn’t some trick to get a recording of me agreeing.
