The local antique-typewrter collection I’ve seen includes an even simpler travel model with no keyboard—it’s one of the items in the collection that has what might be described as a primitive point-and-click interface—but I don’t know how speedy it was; there’s probably a usefulness-to-weight ratio in any design.
