another episode of my confusing webcomic is up.

Preparing Lecture Slides/Notes

Began helping green_trilobite make notes for his presentation on trilobites at SFContario (which is two months off, but he's nervous because he's on a panel with John Scalzi, who's GoH.) I noticed that google docs has an an option for "presentations," which seems to be a sort of off-brand power-point software, so I'll try and use that to make him a slideshow.

Tomorrow is Talk Like A Pirate Day. We're watching Elizabeth: The Golden Age, in which Raleigh is technically a pirate, since the Spanish ambassador complains about him attacking one of their ships before war breaks out. Later he get to set the Armada on fire and do some Douglas-Fairbanks-esque swinging from one deck to another.
