After four days I have 4463 words. I need to average at least 700 more words a day than I've been doing if I'm to make the full word count this year. Meanwhile, here's some intrigue:

Troll Trouble

I was happy when BoingBoing brought back comments, but now, despite Teresa Neilsen Haydn's best efforts as moderator, I think I'm going to have to stop reading it, because I give in to the temptation to read the comments, and then I'm depressed with humanity for several hours.
